Designation Manager - Six Sigma( Noida )

Job Description To explore various improvement opportunities lying in the organisation by applying Lean Six Sigma principles. Provide necessary support to the projects and build capabilities required to carry out the projects.

Being a Change Agent- develop a strong Lean Six Sigma Culture in the organisation through which projects can be sustained in long run.

Provide necessary help in creating project bucket.

Person should be capable of estimating the potential of the ideas and have good understanding of project prioritization tools and techniques. Number of projects identified.

Process measurement & data collection.

Person should be hand on doing the various types process mapping, Value steam mapping (VSM) and have practical knowledge of using other lean tools. Effectiveness of data collected.

Data analysis & identification of root cause. 

Person should be sufficiently skilful in finding root causes of the problems by appropriately using various tools and must have good knowledge of excel and minitab. Improvement opportunity identified

Regular follow-up from the team for timely completion of the projects.

Person should be aware of project management techniques. Project velocity.

To meet the annual cost saving targets of the deptt. by effective application of Lean Six Sigma tools.

Person should have hand on experience of chasing cost saving targets in the similar volume company. % achievement of saving target. 

To explore new methods / technology for elimination of redundant work, optimization and building robust processes.

Person should have good knowledge of VSM, time motion study, Kaizen, re-designing of processes, BMP, optimization tools, supply chain techniques etc. % Improvement over baseline

Regular monitoring of project performance. Timeline adherence

Desired Profile Qualification B.tech /MBA , Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (Recognised institute like ASQ, Motorola etc.) 

Experience Min 5 years experience of driving improvement projects as Black Belt.

Experience 5 - 8 Years
